Sale of Pigeon Matériaux to Tanguy Matériaux

Pigeon Matériaux is a major player in the distribution of building materials in western France. The firm possesses a network of 23 branches over 5 different French departments (Calvados, Ille-et-Vilaine, Maine-et-Loire, Manche and Mayenne).

This regional network enables the company to address and help its 7,000 clients in their construction or renovation projects, whether construction workers, farmers or individuals.

The shareholder, Groupe Pigeon, has decided to focus on its core business, the exploitation of quarries and use of aggregates by developing distribution channels (public works, ready mixed concrete and the construction of concrete products).

Groupe Pigeon, advised by Natixis Partners, has finalised the sale of Pigeon Matériaux and Fabhestia, a unit engaged in the production of building products to Tanguy Matériaux, a regional player backed by its financial partner CM-CIC Investissement.
