Acquisition of a majority stake of Assurcopro

Assurcopro welcomes Eurazeo as new majority shareholder, with the two founders renewing their investment alongside the management. This transaction will enable the group to speed up the development of its national footprint through external growth as well as to widen its product offering in the coming years.

Founded in 1998, Assurcopro is the French pioneer in insurance brokerage for joint ownership schemes. Thanks to its historical network of clients in France (insurance companies and more than 1,600 managing agents and real estate administrators) and led by the experience of its two founders, Vincent Mancel and Olivier Scemama, the group has achieved efficient expansion in Paris, Cannes and Nice over years. The company is well known for its three main products dedicated to joint ownership buildings, i.e. real-estate multirisk insurance, legal protection and property damage insurance, and has developed other innovative products at the same time, allowing the group to position itself as a market leader.

Continuously growing for more than ten years, Assurcopro is expected to generate €18m of sales in 2016, reaching a stable growth of more than 10% p.a.
